Some search tips: For Messier, NGC, and IC objects leave no space between the initials and the number, eg. m1, ngc4565, or ic2944. For other objects, insert a space after the catalog name, eg. "caldwell 23", "stock 12", or "bennett 15". The quotes should be a part of the search.

The HAS Web site does not do advertising, or track the movements of its visitors. The above search, however, uses Google, which has its own privacy policy. In brief, Google uses long duration cookies, and collects information such as your browser type, language, and your IP address. Certain search terms will trigger Google's advertising. These are displayed as clearly marked, unobtrusive links.
